Antipodean SF, an Australian website devoted to the “finest flash SF in the online universe,” is sponsoring an October competition in which those who reside in the land down under can win a copy of Zima Blue (2009), an expanded anthology by British science fiction author Alastair Reynolds. Zima Blue should be of interest to Martian SF fans, for it includes reprints of three novelettes set on Mars: “Angels of Ashes” (1999), “The Real Story” (2002) and "Understanding Space and Time" (2005). For a synopsis of each novelette, check out a review of Zima Blue posted on the website of The Science Fact & Science Fiction Concatenation.
