“Some Things Never Change,” a new piece of flash fiction by Stephen L. Thompson

AntipodeanSF, an Australian speculative fiction webzine, has a new piece of flash fiction titled “Some Things Never Change” (2009) by Stephen L. Thompson. A quaint story about a family moment on Mars, here is the opening line: “Standing on the bottom step, Kyle Cooper took a deep breath and closed his eyes.”

Stephen L. Thompson grew up in Pennsylvania and now lives outside of Philadelphia. His work has appeared in A Flasher’s Dozen, AlienSkin Magazine, Brilliant! and Written Word.
