Triad Toys is doing a good job here getting this license. I was originally going to buy this though until I realized they are also making a movie. Not too keen on those type of figures. You can probably expect to be released anywhere from 12-13 months now too. Triad is notorious for soliciting product and not keeping the release date. Resulting in numerous delays. Thats not to say their work is extraordinary and worth the wait but be prepared to wait a LONG time. Save up and hunker down if you miss that personal Christmas or birthday ordering deadline.

Also it looks like they just used one of their 1.2 Otaku figures and added the armor. So the 100 price is quite a markup. Someone could buy another Otaku for around 40 and get the armor/accessories loose at discounted at a much cheaper price saving around 30-40 dollars in the process.

Yes, $100 is ludicrous. If I wait a year or two, I'll probably be able to pick one up on eBay at a deep discount.
