1950s British cover art: Volsted Gridban’s novel Magnetic Brain

Here’s some beautiful British cover art from the early 1950s: Magnetic Brain (London: Scion, 1953), a novel written by Volsted Gridban (a pseudonym of British science fiction author John Russell Fearn) in which astronaut Timothy Arnside crash-lands on Mars and ends up having his brain operated on by an indigenous surgeon. Magnetic Brain is about 125 pages and was published as a paperback original. The cover art was done by artist Ron Turner.
