New memo from Macmillan CEO John Sargent

Tor.com, the SF&F website which until recently was publisher agnostic and sought to provoke, encourage, and enable interesting and rewarding conversations among editors, authors and readers but now serves as an unrepentant sock puppet for the corporate suits at publishing behemoth Macmillan and their master back in Stuttgart, just published the latest memo from Macmillan CEO John Sargent.

You are very uninformed. Tor.com has always been transparently Tor Books' web presence, which in turn has made no bones about being under the Macmillan umbrella. While you're at it, how about a news flash outing Minnesota as a state in the union?

You didn't understand the point. The point isn't whether Tor.com is marked as Macmillan property. Clearly, it is. The point is whether Tor.com can claim to be publisher agnostic. Given the special treatment of John Sargent's memos and the fact that they are closed to comment means that Tor.com is NOT publisher agnostic.
