Creepy 1970s poetic comic: “A Martian Saga”

The comics blog Diversions of the Groovy Kind has beautiful, readable jpegs of a creepy 1970s black-and-white poetic comic titled “A Martian Saga.” Written by Nick Cuti and illustrated by Bernie Wrightson, this six-page comic about an astronaut marooned on Mars was published in the March 1977 issue of Creepy. Here are the opening lines of “A Martian Saga”:

I had come to the land
of the pale ochre sand,
Where God Shines His eye,
Dim and cold …

I have this original issue of "Creepy" and this comci is one of the greatest tributes to Olde Mars ever made. thanks so much for reviving it!

In the same issue there's a very droll send-up of John Carter...I'll try to find mine and scan it...
