Here’s some risqué cover art from the early 1960s: Martian Sexpot (Hollywood, CA: Onsco Publications, 1963), a paperback original collection of six short stories written by Scott O’Neill. According to one reader, the book is “interstellar sleaze, with crudely done, but very amusing cover portrait of a topless alien gal, the rays of a miniature sun helping to partially clothe her generously endowed upper body.”Thanks to Orbit Books for the tip.

Yeah,but is it hillarious? The cover promises hillarity, and it had darn well better deliver!
I don't know if it is hillarious, I've never read it.
I know, I'm just joking. Something about showing a half-naked woman on the cover, but stressing it's "Hillarious" struck me as misguidedly funny. "Gee, I dunno, I'm an early 1960s prude who takes umbrage at this kind of titilation, but as long as it's hillarious, I guess that makes it ok." That kind of thing.
Hope you have a good sense of humor, because there will be more of this kind of titilation in the future.
