Looney Tunes: Crazed killer has Marvin the Martian tattoo

The Tampa Tribune reports that Edward Covington, who is accused of choking, beating, stabbing, dismembering and mutilating his girlfriend and her two young children on Mother’s Day in Lutz, Florida, last year, has several tattoos, including one of Looney Tunes cartoon character Marvin the Martian. According to the newspaper, deputies found Covington, 37, huddled in a closet with blood on his hands, under his fingernails, on the tops and bottoms of his feet and on his back. Charges against Covington include three counts of first-degree murder, three counts of abuse of a dead human body and one count of felony animal cruelty. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
