The Third Annual Bookspot Central Book Tournament tipped off earlier today. Modeled on the NCAA basketball tournament, this is a contest in which you, the fan, vote for SF&F books, with the winning titles advancing to the next round of competition. The Martian General’s Daughter (2008), by Theodore Judson, is competing in the 64-title new-release tournament and Out of the Silent Planet (1938), by C. S. Lewis, and The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch (1965), by Philip K. Dick, are competing in the 32-title classic tournament. Go Maroon!
