The conservative SF blog Republibot has an interesting one-minute video clip from "Phineus and Ferb," a Disney Channel award-winning animated series that I've never even heard of, in which some girl named Candace Flynn teaches the three-eyed, green inhabitants of the Red Planet about music by singing “Queen of Mars.” I don't know, seems like it might be some of that Stalinist commie bullshit. Stalinist bullshit? Probably not. Disney is more fascist than stalinist.
Anyway, thanks for the nod. The episode as a whole is pretty good: A little Indian kid builds a portal to Mars for his science fair project. Meanwhile, the main character's sister feels no one likes her, and accidentally uses the thing to end up on Mars, where she frees the musically noninclined Martians from the NASA probes that have been terrifying them.
Also, there's a Platypus in in it. He's a spy. No, really.
